Luca Balduccio came from Sicily in Italy and has been living in Debrecen for over a decade and a half, which he now calls his second home - every little nuance of the heart of the city is already alive with a genuine Italian passion. Originally an archaeologist, he became an Italian teacher at the Csokonai Vitéz Mihály Gimnázium, where he brings to life not only the language but also Italian culture and music.
His musical career goes back more than three decades: after a childhood singing career, he also studied guitar, drums and harmonica - self-taught. In Debrecen, he regularly performs in restaurants and festivals, enchanting audiences with his authentic melodies at live Italian evenings.
For Luca, the stage is not a job, but an expression of herself: through music she returns the love and hospitality she receives from Hungarian audiences. In her style, light Italian melodies meet Hungarian comfort zone - be it intimate ballads, common folk songs or Italian classics.
